COUSE OUTLINE • DURATION: Half day
- Decide whether e-mail is the appropriate method for your message
- Structure e–mails in both subject line and body to ensure they are read, and you receive a timely response from e-mails you send
- Ensure replies to e-mails are responded to appropriately
- Recognise what you should not do with e-mails
- Control your e-mail before it controls you – tips on managing your e-mail including using folders, flags, colour coding, rules, out of office reply, inserting signature blocks
- Recognise when it is appropriate to use the cc, bc and reply all functions
